Royal Caribbean’s Oasis of the Seas has returned to service today, following an emergency drydock in Cadiz (Spain).

The mega ship was undergoing maintenance at the Grand Bahama shipyard last month, when two construction cranes collapsed on the ship.

At the time, the cruise line said the damage was so extensive that it would have to cancel several voyages and send the ship to Cadiz to be repaired, ahead of its Mediterranean season.

This week, Royal Caribbean said that the accident would have a direct financial impact, with small reduction in the cruise lines profit, due to lost revenue.

Today’s voyage will depart Barcelona at 18.00hrs (local) and call at Palma Mallorca, Marseilles, La Spezia, Civitavecchia and Naples.
