German cruise operator, AIDA Cruises offers the perfect remedy for those yearning for distant lands with its new world cruise routes aboard AIDAaura in winter 2020 / 2021.
Guests can look forward to fascinating moments in South America, sun, the South Seas, New Year’s Eve in Sydney, or breathtaking experiences in South Africa.
AIDAaura will set sail from Hamburg on October 26, 2020, and will reach San Antonio, Chile, after a 36-day voyage. AIDAaura will call at 12 destinations offering a variety of thrills for explorers. After stops in the English Channel and Lisbon, guests can look forward to dream destinations such as Rio de Janeiro (Brazil), Buenos Aires (Argentina), Ushuaia in Tierra del Fuego, and Cape Horn on the southernmost tip of South America. This cruise comes to an end on 1 December 2020.
The second leg of the cruise starts from Chile and will head west to Mauritius. This 48-day cruise from 1 December 2020, to 18 January 2021, will take in destinations including Tahiti, Bora Bora, New Caledonia, Tonga and Fiji where guests will have the opportunity to snorkel among schools of colorful fishes, ray and marine turtles.

AIDAaura will set out on the third leg of her world cruise on 18 January 2021. Starting from the island paradise of Mauritius, the 33-day cruise firstly heads for Madagascar. The cruise continues on to Gran Canaria and Vigo, in Spain and Cherbourg in France, before coming to an end in Hamburg on 20 February 2021.
