CMV cruises is offering travellers the perfect opportunity to sail around the British Isles and enjoy bonus calls into Rotterdam and Cherbourg (Normandy). Magellan will discover picturesque harbours, historic castles and ancient sites on this Springtime cruise. 

Magellan sails from London Tilbury on 31 March and calls at Rotterdam, Invergordon in Scotland, Kirkwall in the Orkney Islands, Oban in Scotland, Belfast, Northern Ireland, Dublin, Ireland, St Peter Port Guernsey, Cherbourg, France and returns to London Tilbury on 11 April.

The first call to Rotterdam provides the chance to visit the world famous gardens at Keukenhof. At Invergordon, gateway to the Scottish Highlands, take an optional excursion to see remarkable scenery and romantic castles or go in search of the Loch Ness monster. In Kirkwall, passengers can visit the famous Italian Chapel or marvel at the 5,000 year old village that is Skara Brae. From Belfast there is the option to take an excursion to the extraordinary Giant’s causeway or visit the impressive Titanic museum.

In Dublin, passengers can experience the home of Guinness or visit Trinity College. At St Peter Port, Guernsey there is the chance to visit Castle Cornet which has stood guard over the pretty port for 800 years. While in Cherbourg memories of World Wars in Normandy are not too far from this delightful medieval town.

Magellan accommodates just 1,250 passengers in a warm and friendly atmosphere that reflects a classic cruise experience. CMV’s smaller to mid-sized cruise ships are accessible to more ports of call and ideal for exploring the British Isles.
